WARNING: Award fever takes over Tricker PR

Rugby Ball Melrose Abbey 2013

The good old Scottish summer may look like it’s drawing to an early close and our exotic getaways may be over for another year, but nothing can dampen our sprits as we have much bigger things on our minds.

There’s a buzz of excitement around the office which can only mean one thing, yes, that’s right – award fever has officially taken over the Tricker PR premises. The symptoms of our staff currently include giddiness, elation, lots of cheeriness and the odd burst into song as we patiently await our results.

Even Brodie, the office dog, has an extra spring in his step, all because we’re over the moon to have been nominated for nine prestigious industry awards. We’ve been shortlisted in four categories at the Scottish Event Awards, two categories in the Chartered Institute of PR (CIPR) PRide Awards, as well as receiving further nominations at the Scottish Creative Awards, Event Awards, and Northern Star Business Awards.

The ‘Save Our Dram’ campaign for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival has picked up five nominations including Best Product Launch and Best PR Strategy at the Scottish Event Awards, Best Strategy or Stunt at the Scottish Creative Awards, Best PR Event or Stunt at the Event Awards, and Best Campaign at the Northern Star Business Awards.

Our work for Aberdeen Asset Management Melrose 7’s has been nominated for Best Sporting Campaign at the CIPR PRide Awards and has been shortlisted in the categories of Best Sports and Best PR Strategy at the Scottish Event Awards.

Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms DMO has also been nominated for Best Integrated Campaign at the CIPR PRide Awards for the company’s Victorian Heritage Trail campaign.

From brainstorms, to boardroom to the big bad world, we spend many hours trying to make each project we work on a huge success and so is a great feeling for our hard work to be recognised by leading industry awards.

So now we keep our fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed that we can take home some trophies!
